Rural Women's Employment and the Chinese State: Sixty Years of Change

Speaker: Dr. Hu Yukun is a Fulbright Scholar and an Associate Professor in the Institute of Population Research at Peking University. Her primary research interests are in gender and development, women and health, population, natural resource man-agement and the environment, and feminist theories and methodologies. She has published and edited several books and more than twenty essays and conference papers. Dr. Hu Yukun earned a PhD in Womens Studies from Clark University and a Masters degree in American History from Shandong Normal University.
