Barnard/Columbia Dances at Miller Theatre

Barnard and Columbia students perform in new works, including Treefrog in Stonehenge by dance iconoclast and Twyla Tharp 63; a new contemporary work by Andrea Miller, the rising star choreographer and artistic director of Gallim Dance; and a new ballet by Robert La Fosse, the former principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre and the New York City Ballet, and current Barnard dance department faculty member. The program will also feature the Lamentation Variations, a suite of student choreography inspired by the artistry of modern dance pioneer Martha Graham and mentored by members of the Martha Graham Dance Company.
